Among the beautiful montains of the interior region of Guipuzcoa we will find real basque icons, villages that have kept the old basque environment as the old farmhouses called "Caserio".

We will understand how life was in a basque old farmhouse visiting Igartubeiti, a Caserio converted in a museum of the old costumes inside those basque typical houses. Continuing with the traditions we will visit the Shepherds' School to learn about one of the most famous Basque cheeses and we will enjoy also a tasting, we will be able to find other products that compose our excellent gastronomy: cider, txakoli, string beans and other Basque delights.
We will go up to the fantastic buildings in the Sanctuary of Arantzazu in the top of a impresive and craggy mountain, where the legend says that the Virgin appeared to a shepherd called Rodrigo de Balzategi in a hawthorn bush; astounded, he asked her Arantzan zu? (Is it you in the hawthorn?), thus paving the way for centuries of devotion. We will end in Oñate enjoying the magnificent building of the University Sancti Spiritus and all the villa.
